    Hello,
We wish to understand more about how JSECoin works and have the following queries:
    1. Is it fine if we wish to have your code installed only on particular page/s so that notification is displayed to only a few selected users? And once the user opt-in will the mining be continued through the user’s browser irrespective of the page they are on.
    2. Will the mining stop once the user closes our website and continues to surf the internet normally?
    3. If a user decides to opt-in on a different website which uses JSECoin be displayed the banner/notification to opt-in on our website also? What we wish to know is the opt-in website specific or global?
    4. With browser mining is it allowed to keep a particular page of website open without performing any activity? We would like our team members to help us with the mining and thus keep the browser open after opt-in. Is this fine and allowed? We want it to be something like self-mining but by few selected team members.
    5. Do the chances of getting JSECoin decreases/changes if a user is not active and just left the website page open without performing any activity?
    6. Will the mining from browser stop if we decide to remove the code from our website for some reason?
    7. Since there are few security companies which are still giving warning on loading your website, will the trigger the warning for users who visit our website with your code placed?

Looking forward to your answers to the above question for better understanding and optimizing the use of your platform! It will also help us write a good article and promote JSECoin 🙂

    Hi Shubham,

    Answers as follows:-

Yes you can have the code only on certain sub pages. Once opted in the user will only mine on the pages where the code is installed.

    2. Will the mining stop once the user closes our website and continues to surf the internet normally?
Yes, as soon as a user leaves the page, mining stops.

    3. If a user decides to opt-in on a different website which uses JSECoin be displayed the banner/notification to opt-in on our website also? What we wish to know is the opt-in website specific or global?
Global, an opt-in or opt-out is network wide.

    4. With browser mining is it allowed to keep a particular page of website open without performing any activity? We would like our team members to help us with the mining and thus keep the browser open after opt-in. Is this fine and allowed? It’s fine but the mining rewards wont be significant because the rewards algorithm on the publisher side is mainly based around number of unique opted-in users.

    5. Do the chances of getting JSECoin decreases/changes if a user is not active and just left the website page open without performing any activity?
No only in extreme circumstances would this have an effect (bot traffic)

    6. Will the mining from browser stop if we decide to remove the code from our website for some reason?
Yes the mining only runs when a user is on a page with the code, we don’t download anything on to the visitors device to continue mining after the site visit. If you remove the code from the site it simply wont be there to run.

    7. Since there are few security companies which are still giving warning on loading your website, will the trigger the warning for users who visit our website with your code placed?
Depends on the AV company. Normally they block https://load.jsecoin.com which restricts the script from being loaded. This means that the code just wont load and the visitor wont be counted if they have an AV/adblocker installed that blocks us. We are lobbying the companies that are blocking the platform, we feel that as it’s opt-in only there is no acceptable reason for them to block the project and we are just being thrown in the same basket as the hidden background Monero miners.

Hope that answers all your questions. If you would like to know anything else just let me know.
