when the visitors decide to zoom full screen the embed youtube videos on my page, I want to know if the mining code still runs in the background or not?
This is important because the code stops running while we open new tabs or minimize the browser. I’m not sure for the publisher’s code with full-screen zooming.
Hi Promoter, I just done a quick test and it seemed to work fine. This would be something that is controlled by the browser though and is out of our control to some degree. If a high definition video is playing on a low powered device like a smart phone it is going to be consuming somewhere near all the resources so I would expect it to affect the mining somewhat. It’s so dependant on the local system as to how much it will be affected it is hard to give a general answer. On a laptop with Firefox it seems to work fine though.
