Some people claim that blockchain got outdated by this new tech : https://hashgraph.com/
Don’t know if it worth it, you should look into it though.
PS : I personally don’t believe in it at all. It’s technically better but the patent was such a dumb move…
It’s interesting, not sure I fully understand the benefits. It’s like giving each user their own mini-blockchain and they are all interlinked. So if userA blockchain wants to interact with userB blockchain the previous hashes of both are used. But then I assume all the data must still be stored on each node to verify it. i.e. without userA’s data we can’t verify userB’s. My main concern would be how does it scale? I don’t know enough about the technology to comment but the FAQ says they are still in the process of doing performance tests.
On a side note they have a lot of events on meetup.com which is nice to see and something we could learn from.
Also agree the patent/license thing is a really strange move or at least something different to what everyone else is doing. A sign perhaps that the cryptocurrency industry is growing up and getting more commercialized.
